                  Health Hints

  • You need to provide new shells for the crab to grow into after they molt.
  • The best temperature for your hermit crab is 70-75 degrees F. If the temperature drops below 60 degrees F your crab could hibernate, long hibernation can affect the crab.
  • Crabs like to climb, Choya wood and fish net will encourge play. Make sure they have plenty of room
  • The store you purchase the crab at will most likely sell food or tell you where to find it. There are also treats availible. They bury the food so remove all uneaten food prior to their DAILY feedings.
